I don't get why I'm seeing bloody Maxx "C" in "new" format decks...

Please tell me how Constellar, Evilswarm, Fire Fist, Bujin, DW, BW or Spellbook SS soo much that you need to main 2 Maxx "C"s.

I get why you think Maxx "c" should not be mained, and it is plausible that it should not. But your points do need work.

Fire Fist have their spirit combo plays AND their Wolfbark plays.

You are also missing two elephants in the room: Mermails and other GearKuri decks. Mermail especially.

And Dark World? Seriously? You think they will be relevant?

@TRA2700

Looking at the posted deck, not any of the edits your already made.

I would drop a Call of the Haunted and a Fiendish Chain for a pair of Seven Tools of Bandit. For your Extra Deck, I would definitely make zenmaines a rank 3 choice over anything else, probably dropping Angineer.

This appears to be TCG limited, but that doesn't really make sense to me considering that LVAL drops at the end of January and makes this deck substantially better. You may just wanna wait out the pack release and then put these together when they're that much stronger.

Also it might be worth stripping an Encore and a Debunk (one-off stopper sideboards are best in twos since they get cloggy and you're already siding a lot of continuous sideboard) for the 2 Maxx "C" leaving the main deck to find a home in the side deck.

Dunno what to put here, yet, so I dug up this gem for you to click on. It's good. Read it.

Angineer is better as it can protect other monsters and I prefer Trap Stun to Seven Tools. Call is really good so far and I've had no problems with it. To use Iron Call you need a machine type monster on the field, also you can bring back synchros and Gear Gigant X with Call. I'll probably take out Maxx C though. And for the side, I'll just wait. Btw Call and Fiendish Chain really help when you have Scrap Dragon on the field. And, I'm sorry but I can't get a picture up for some reason.

After testing...

I'm really impressed with your deck everything seems very well thought out. As much as I would like to suggest something I can't find any flaws that I usually look for... Your removal and attack prevention is solid, so is your anti-trap/spell base. You are also running your collection of monsters at the right amount and in the most synergistic way. I'm going to try this one out :) Well done on a good build!

I suppose I could give the deck a try without Redox. It'll be better when MK-3 comes out. That will open up more rank 3 plays. You can check mine and see if you agree.

Thanks GekkoState. I don't like running Redox as it can't really do anything on its own, except for becoming a one turn Metal Reflect Slime. Also, I don't have space in the extra for rank 7s (real reason: I can't afford them). CotH and Fiendish are good Scrap Dragon targets and I personally prefer Trap Stun to Seven Tools as Trap Stun stops a full backrow not just one. Anyway, I'm thinking of running Star Eater, what should I take out?

@uchi1223 No extra deck space and it's not searchable so... yeah. There's also no level 4 machine fusions.

I read all comments and I think that almost all these suggestions came from ppl who never played Geargia

Monster lineup is fine dont change it

Side D Hole

I dont recommend Limiter but you can still let it in

2 Coth is fine remove one

Add in 3 Upstarts

Wont give any suggestions on side deck since it depends only on what u feel

Find place for Zenmaines in extra

You do not need limiter removal to do anything. Take it out and add another fiendish chain or something. Fiendish also gets better at the end of the month because It's one of the few traps that reliable neuters Exciton, which can do some serious damage against decks such as this.
Also the appeal of seven tools is that it stops traps cold as a spell speed 3. But really it is your call.

Dark Hole kills Yamato. Limiter is my personal tech but I'll test without it. Triple CotH is for consistency as I don't draw it enough. The only good counter trap now is Solemn Warning so Trap Stun is fine. And I hate Upstart, I just do. Zenmaines is so weak nowadays though: Blackship, Pleiades, Cardinal, Tiaramisu, Big Eye etc. Nearly every good deck has an answer to it.

Eh, it isn't to stop counter traps as much as it is to stop them from chaning other shenaniganery. But really it is still your choice.
Tbh I don't like the xyz encore in the side, and I think the side could be a bit better. Stuff like royal prisons can help and the mirrors. Also running the viruses could help. Are constellation and evil swarm really that much of a problem to use triple encore?

I haven't really had much time to test the side but yeah, they are that much of a problem and viruses are a bit of a pain to set off...

I don't know if it's just my computer but I can't get a picture up...

True, but wouldn't Electric Virus be better? But I don't have any so I'll have 2 Maxx Cs instead.

Awesome deck! But the question I have for you is: Where is Number 49: Fortune Tune? I have found him to be more than a worthy successor to Zenmaines. He cant be targeted, takes 3 cards to destroy him, gains you lp to prevent possible OTKs, and recycles your lvl 3 Gears back to the deck for Geargiagear plays (if you are like me and dont have the money to spend on an Emeral). The reason I prefer him over Zenmaines is all of these factors, plus the fact that he cant be compulsed and has terrible atk and def, meaning your opponent will try to attack into him to conserve card advantage rather than blowing mass destruction, and run face-first into a bevy of Mirror Forces and D-Prisons. I have found FOrtune Tune is best when your back is against the wall, or you need to stall for an extra turn. Though I run and stand by Upstart in this deck, Fortune Tune provides you with that extra turn to draw one or 2 cards while your opponent commits to the field, meaning it also effectively takes the place of that card while netting you the life gain instead. Try it out and lmk what you think. It may be the only Rank 3 you need to run (until MK-III hits stateside of course!)

I've got an Emeral but chose not to run it as I want my deck to be as aggressive as possible.  I'll try out Fortune Tune.
