Hopping on the Cyber Dragon bandwagon, because, well...Cyber Dragons are awesome :)

However I got little experience with this deck, so I'd like your help to:

- make it as consistent as possible

- maintain the OTK focus I no longer think that this deck should concentrate on otkeing.

-3 Scarecrow

-1 One Day of Peace

+3 Cyber Valley

+1 Cyber Network

This should help you draw faster, and get to your combo pieces. Plus, valley is an excellent Machine Duplication target, enabling you to stall for 3 turns or draw 2 for almost no cost.

Wouldn't that leave me defenseless? Keep in mind there are decks like Hieratic Rulers and Geargiakuri out there.

I like the ide of Cyber Valley and Cyber Network.

EDIT:

Oh and One Day of Peace is a good combo with Power Bond to avoid damage :)

where is normal cyber dragon. the point of a "cyber dragon" deck is to use cyber dragon right?

also run valley and network.

get rid of 1 scarecrow, though.

as previously stated, Valley is a near perfect target for dup.

hope i helped.

It's the very first card :P

I'll try:

-1 Scarcrow

-1 Reckless

+2 Cyber Valley

If you're gonna play Valley, you need to play 3. The reason it's so good is because you can Dupe it to draw 2 and still have one on the field. It's almost never dead, since it's a good stall card.

^Agreed

If you need to drop another card for a third I'd reccomend one of the MST or an Upstart.

Also, Id recommend the Rank 5 Shark. If you have that thing on the field with Nova it's easy game.

For that I'd drop a Twin Dragon

Alright thanks for the suggestion so far you've been really helpful guys :)

Here's the deck now:

I guess Scarecrow is better in side.

I need Upstart and Reckless for the speed...

Any more ideas for the side though?

Gozen or Rivalry works on a lot of decks with no consequence to you.
Rivalry might be better this meta.
I'd put two over a veil and a dust tornado.
Gozen over two scarecrow if you feel the need.
Some combination of both if not.

Update:

Should I replace 2 Veilers with 2 Maxx C?

Also, should I cut 1 Nova Dragon for a Barbaroid?

Just gonna throw a ton of suggestions out there :)

In my opinion you should run 3 dupes if you are running 2 targets, because, well it is very unlikely you will draw all 3 in one game and it also boosts consistency of it being in your hand. Duping into 2 cybers can be deadly as well as duping valley to draw 2 which just replenished your hand and gave you network targets.

Also One day is really not needed as if you get your Cyber Twin out, you will probably win already, and you don't want to be giving your opponent cards, so it would be better to replace with a card that helps you set up your field with protection or more otk potential.

Also you can probably cut down to 2 cyber network as it is searchable and drawing 2 is just annoying as you won't be over using it too much.

Super Poly is also a great card because the deck is so susceptible to Chimeratech, when your opponent summons a machine you can instantly activate it so they won't even have a chance to go into Chimeratech. I think it's one of the best counters for Chimeratech and you can also clear up some of your opponents field.

A bit of a more minor suggestion but maybe a tiny rank 3 engine and leviair? Just something that I think would be cool to test out, idk if it will work though xD

I'll try 2 Network and 2 Repair Plantsas they are searchable. What would you suggest to cut for Super Poly?

Finally, I don't know how I could put in a rank 3 engine as none of the monsters are level 3, and I don't think Tour Guides would do well in here.

This deck needs a lot of cards to combo, so more draw power:

I noticed this deck needs more draw power:

I'll prefer having 1~2 Maxx "c" than putting 1~2 veiler on the main

Okey, some major changes to the deck.

Machine Duplication: A lot of people say it's a must in this deck. But as I don't main Cyber Valley, it means I only have 3 targets for it: the 3 Cores. Plus, Cyber Dragon is often banished by Network, so it's pretty inconsistent in my opinion and not worth running.

Cyber Valley: Another card people seem to like in this deck. I tested it, but it's kinda slow, and the stalling is not worth it imo. I may try it in again, perhaps in place of a Upstart...

Foolish Burial: It's important to have a Cyber Dragon in grave at times, as cards like Overload Fusion, Repair Plant, etc., use it. But it's just a test and I don't know if it'll stay

Overload: Great card! It let's you use the monsters from your grave, plus it provides fodder for Network. Chimeratech Overdragon says hi :)

I feel like having monsters on your field is the key to the deck. Now, you might say it's for every deck, but here more than any other. Take Mermails, there the key is a lot of hand cards. Or Chaos Dragons, having a well-filled grave. That's why I put in some protection like Honest, Solemn, Bottomless, etc.

I might try that. It's just Veiler gives some more protection, and it is needed in this deck.

After some playtesting, I take it back...

Cyber Valley is a good card and quite good with Duplication.

However the deck is still...quite slow, anyone knows how to make it better.

Well focus on one or two things and find ways on how you can make them happen fast. What do you want the deck to based on?

It doesn't have to something in specific as long as it makes the deck as consistent as possible.

Usually focusing on one part and then creating lots of synergy within that makes a deck really consistent :P
