Well, DN is finally gone. I've had an amazing time here over the last few years and I've made some good friends. I started playing this game in 2003 and had to stop playing it as I was finishing high school in 2009 and into the early part of 2010. Then, along came DN and suddenly I had a way to play Yugioh again. I spent a couple years goofing around in the public chat and eventually started answering ruling questions for people. I decided then that I wanted to be an admin. After playing the game for so long, I got more enjoyment from helping others learn the game and seeing them enjoying the fun this game has to offer than I got from simply playing it myself. After a setback caused by my own stupidity about a year and a half ago, I was sure I would never get that chance. I was almost done with DN and with Yugioh as a whole in February of this year. Then the admin exam released on my birthday and I decided I might give it one last shot. I took a couple weeks to make sure I really wanted to keep playing this game before taking the exam. Luckily, I passed the exam and was actually hired. Being an admin these last few months has been one of the most enjoyable times in my life and I'm so thankful for the chance I got to help the community. Once we lost our card images, Xteven made his site available. I coordinated with him and found a team of people to help us upload all the card arts on Xteven's site so that we could play with images again and the less tech-savvy people would have an easy way to access DN. Since then, I've maintained the images and have not only uploaded arts for releases since that time but also have updated a lot of preexisting arts. This was a huge investment of my time but I met new people through that project as well and it was such a fun experience. I've met some really cool people here and it's a shame that this is how it all ends. Tags below for people I think of.

@Sjir-sama I've known you for quite a while now (since I was stalking you as a newmin) and you've always been super friendly and helpful. Thanks for training me.
@Xteven I never really talked to you before the image project but you're a cool dude. Thanks for hosting images for us these past few months.
@BigBlueEquinoxII I didn't know you before we were hired but you're cool as hell. Hopefully we continue talking after all this stuff is gone.
For anyone else I missed, thank you for the friendships made and the good times had here.
