Update (8/8/12):
After some testing on DN and two computer crashes, I've decided to change things up. The Gemini engine was getting insanely cloggy, so Breaker was added, along with traps. Here's a list as it stands now:

Main Deck (40 cards)

3 Magical Summmoner - Temper (Temperance of Prophecy in the tcg)
3 Breaker the Magical Warrior
3 Skilled Dark Magician
2 Summoner Monk
3 Dark Magician

3 Grimmore (Spellbook of Secrets in the tcg)
2 Torah (Spellbook of Wisdom)
3 Hygro (Spellbook of Power)
1 Dark Hole
3 Forbidden Chalice
1 Heavy Storm
1 Monster Reborn
2 Pot of Duality
3 Hidden Spellbook Institute (Tower in the tcg)
2 Terraforming

2 Skill Drain
1 Solemn Judgment
2 Solemn Warning

The extra and side are the same as the previous list.
I'll add an image later, DN has been screwing with my computer.

^ This is the build so far. The ideal play is to use temperance or skilled dark magician to put everyone's favorite spellcaster on the field quickly. This happens about half of the time on the first turn. Otherwise, putting a beater on the field, along with the field spell, is pretty good. Protection is abundant, and a lot of the time, people think I'm playing heroes.

I'm mostly looking for suggestinos for the side and extra deck, but anything that's game-changing, or even just good, in the main is up for consideration. And before you ask, no magical dimension. Absolutely not.

Remove terraforming, this is exactly why you have spellbook of secrets and power. Both search, that gives you 2 other things to be able to use.....probably symbol of ancestory.
If the main point is to get dark magician, then put in big eye. Thats all that can be really done with ur deck though. Unless you want to use your gemini synchro.

why no dark magician girl?

I don't want to tribute summon her and temper is better off getting the magician himself. Also, clogs hands
.

Why no magical dimension?

Read the op.

Why do you have Tuned Magician, and no Synchros. If you need a level 4 Gemini, you might want to consider Dark Valkyria, It pares well with Crusader Of Endymion.

I wanted to use it for a long while, but with only 3 solid targets (and a low monster count) it's dead around half the time. Plus, it's still a -1, and this deck works very hard to maintain advantage. Just overall, it goes against what I'm making. It would be great in a build that's less stun-like.

I've taken out the gemini engine, but Dark Valkyria wouldn't have worked anyway, because she's a fairy and I need spellcasters.

To all: I've updated the OP with my new build.

any spellcaster is a dimension target, so it has lots of targets, and it's also a quick play smashing ground of sorts. the -1 is only a -1 in a vacuum, across a turn combo or even a duel, that -1 is mitigated rather hastily, so I'd hardly hold that against it, but i digress.

I guess if you don't want it I can't ask you to run it.

- 2 Terraforming.
-1 Forbidden Chalice.

+2 Magician's Circle. (Slow trap, but it'll speed up your summoning).
+1 Dark Magician Attack (or Heavy Storm).

That's just my opinion, after all, Spellcasters need to be quick nowadays, and if not, they may fail etc, hence the suggestion of Magician's Circle and some kind of backrow destruction.

Did you see the updated version of the deck? My backrow destruction is triple breaker, and I also added heavy (plus, wisdom protects a spellcaster from everything except solemn). Worked with circle a little bit, but it's a touch too slow, and I'd rather have an extra spellbook or tower to deal with those pesky dark world players (literally half of my locals, even after dedicated macro players showed up). It's a good suggestion though, works wonders in fortune lady builds.

Sorry, just seen. Ok then...

2 Skill Drains? What? Nice idea to counter, but you need your effects too remember!

How about a Royal Decree or 2?

Would be nice if you update the picture too if you don't mind. Some people, like myself prefer an image of the deck than a list - it just helps me think more etc.

I'm all about the maths. For each copy of a card, you will draw it 15% of the time in your opening hand, including the draw during your first turn. I will only have skill drian 30-40% of the time, maybe 50% of the time if the game goes very long. The plan of action when I do draw drain is to summon magician, set drain, and only use it when it is really needed (plays like monk-monk-lv4 spellcaster-xyz, set drain are awesome). Temperance, the key card of the deck, works under skill drain as well, so it's not an issue late game. Outside of that, a strong opponent usually throws their resources at skill drain to begin with, so it ends up drawing fire away from tower. Like most decks with beatsticks, it hurts my opponent more than it hurts me. I'm siding them out for decree (great idea) against chain burn, rabbit, and heroes, and siding them out for macro against dark worlds. Plus, they've won me more games than dark hole and reborn put together.

Will add a picture as soon as firefox stops crashing >.<
