Hi, I'm a noob trying to build a mermail/atlantean deck, and it's hard. This deck is a bad deck, and it needs help desperately. Could you please give me some advice about creating a good mermail deck? And you are free to bash on the deck & me as much as you like.
2 heavy infantry
1 deep sea diva
2 mermail abyssgunde
1 mermail abysshinde
1 abyss-scale of cetus
1 abyss-scale of kraken
2 call of the atlantean
1 dark hole
1 heavy storm
1 monster reborn
2 bottomless trap hole
2 dark bribe
2 mirror force
2 dimensional prison

Thanks, you made my day.
This is quite honestly atrocious.
List of issues (not conclusive):
Only one Deep Sea Diva.
Only 2 Abyssphere.
Call of the Atlanteans is actually used at all.
Lemuria - pointless.
Dark Bribe - what?
A general lack of understanding of how the deck works.
First point you should learn:
Abyssphere + Deep Sea Diva = 8000 damage.
Abyssphere in opponent's turn, summon Abysslinde, destroys itself in end phase. Abysslinde summons Megaloabyss. Your turn, summon Deep Sea Diva. Diva summons Sniper, tribute Diva for Megaloabyss, Sniper attacks, summons Dragoons, total damage is 8000.
This is why you play 3 Abyssphere and you play 3 Deep Sea Diva, unless you are good enough with the deck that you have a better method.
You must take out:
Dark Bribe, Lemuria, Call of the Atlanteans, Abysscales (both), Abysscorn, Poseidra. Abysshilde, Dimensional Prison, and either Bottomless Trap Hole or Mirror Force (you don't need both - you could actually remove both if you want to).
After you do this you can either play Atlantean Mermail or Genex Atlantean Mermail. I've put below the two different builds you can make. When I say below to use Tragoedia as another option but not Gorz, this is because you have a lot of cards in hand, and also you can search Megaloabyss, so Tragoedia can do the Gorz steal (I will assume you don't know what this is, so it's in the spoiler box):
Or, if you want to play Genex Atlantean Mermail:
One last thing - if that is your real side deck in the image that is very poor. If you need a side deck I can give you a rough draft of cards you should be playing there.

Abyss Dweller > Bahamut Shark until CBLZ, only criticism to Dreaming's fixes, otherwise listen to them.
Why, is Bahamut Shark not TCG? I just assumed that OP was okay with OCG cards.
Never mind, just googled it. Abyss Dweller is definitely an option especially for a quick OTK. Good point.
