You need consistent s/t hate to win consistently against them, Macro can slow them down but ultimately doesn't stop them and Skill Drain will not help that much either (although will put more of a dent then the other side cards).

Harpies slaughters this archetype.

Effect Veiler - the most obvious one, why has this not been said first?

Huge Revolution shuts off Tiger King? You sure you're not thinking Fire Kings here?

Also being the deck that relies heavily on their spells and traps to maintain field advantage, that is what you should look to stop. And the best way to stop that is to stop their monsters. Especially Wolfberk, Bear and Tiger King, so runing plenty of effect negating cards such as Skill Drain, Veiler and Fiendish Chain can help you overcome them. Outside of that, it's pretty hard to stop them for the sake of stopping them, you can overpower them with better plays but stopping them from doing what they want is rather hard.

Isn't there also 2+ builds of them?
The Chicken build, the generic Bear/Gorilla squash, I'm seeing Rabbit Fists;
Would your side for the overall "Fire Fists" hinder builds as well?

I've tried Chicken Buil and it's not bad but still inferior to Level 4 build or as you call it Bear/Gorilla Squash, and Rabbit Fists are no where near as good as the first two.

But like I said, Skill Drain stops them, without Bear and Gorilla to tutor their spells easy, they can't work that well. Thunder King Rai-Oh is pretty useless. Macro Cosmos stops Gorilla and Bear, but Diawolf is their easy way out of that.

But even though their Spells and Traps are what makes them good, the way to stop them is to stop their Monsters, mainly Bear and Wolfberk.

That's not true. 2x Rescue Rabbit + 3x Vorse Raider + 3x Yushi, Ensho + 1x Ryushishin is a fantastic build for Firestar.

Each to his own I guess, but I just don't see it, I'd much rather use those 5 slots for extra consistency, if I could use Vorse Raiders to summon something as good as Laggia than yes, but just for the sake of summoning Tiger King, nah.

Funny thing is, I've seen people side and/or main DDV for the tutored Vorse Raider which is the only reason I'm testing something.
Like you said though, to each his own.

I'm still trying to side for them overall with the decks I can't side Macro in, besides the extra Space, Dust Tornado and probably Lance.
Trial and error..

It's not really a 'funny thing' as such, because that is the reason why Vorse Raider is played. Or sided. I've never yet seen Vorse Raider without Deck Devastation Virus, which lets Firestar punch holes right through Wind-Ups and the like.

Zombie World is also a good choice to stop those increases in power and hurts Wolfberk/Dragon while makes Tiger King impossible to summon and turns Diawolf into a 2000 beater only

It's not a bad idea in itself but you are risking consistency with Vorse Raider.

Max your MST's and get ready to protect your monsters mostly.
I find that if they can't get their attacks in, they can't search, and it won't matter HOW high their ATK gets.
If you don't main Bottomless in the first place, bring them out of the side then. All their big contributors can be Bottomless'd.
They can annoyingly spam their Extra Deck, last I played using them. Be sure to get those CED's ready just in case, as well as preventing attacks in an emergeny situation.
Prison and Mirror Force are good to keep around too for the most part. Prison being the better choice of course.

spell/trap hate and macro

Only they will literally chain everything. Fire Fists are amazing from chaining everything. :I

My Youtube Channel <----------< Hey guys (and girls), I am updating my yugioh channel with fresh new content which I hope you can take some time to look at it. My channel is pretty much about underrated yugioh archetypes, and/or cards about the game, and I have some ideas about them. Hopefully, you can check it out, and don't be afriad to ask for shoutouts for your own youtube channel because I will do it! I am a growing youtube channel who needs a bit of support. Thanks so much for checking it out! :D

You see, building a Yu-Gi-Oh deck is like building with Lego's, it takes patience, color, and imagination. I can give all those perspectives to you for your deck, and helping YOU become a better duelist, and for YOU to have a better deck. ^_-
~e$ made the sig, thx bro~

Pretty much side S/T hate. Forbidden Lance can help too.

Or you can side interesting cards like Fairy Wind or Spell-Shattering Arrow. Might not work that well though.
