So, I haven't made a Photon/Galaxy deck since the Photon Archtype was first released. I decided to give them another go with the release of Tachyon Dragon. So, I wanted to make this my own build, and I'm not too familiar with the standard Photon/Galaxy build these days, so if it IS pretty standard, well...I like to try to be competitive and creative at the same time, so suggestions on how I can do both, thank you. Now, on too the deck!

Deck List:

Monsters:
Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon x3
Galaxy Knight x3
Galaxy Wizard x3
Photon Thrasher x2
Photon Crusher x2
Photon Satellite x2
Parsec the Interstellar Dragon
Honest
Shining Angel x3

Spells/Traps:
Polymerization x2
Galaxy Zero x2
Galaxy Expedition x2
Photon Sanctuary x3
Monster Reborn
Heavy Storm
Dark Hole
Pinpoint Guard x2
Lumenize
Photon Lead x2
Constellar Belt
Solemn Judgement
Solemn Warning

SIde Deck:
Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror x2
Dimension Wanderer (incase I decide to switch to a strategy that focuses on Galaxy-Eyes effect)

Extra Deck:
PhotoKnight Paladius
Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon x2
Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon
Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis
Number 15: Gimmick Puppet - Giant Killer
Lavaval Chain
Maestroke
Utopia
Blackship of Corn
Photon Papilloperative
Twin Photon Lizard x2
Number 9: Dyson Sphere

Now, I am thinking of fitting another Parsec in to the deck, since he works so well with Shining Angel (Use shining Angel to SS first Parsec, then NS one in my hand. Instant rank 8). Also, Twin Photon Lizard is such an easy way to get two Level 8s out on the field. So, any help on making this deck better is greatly appreciated.

No one has anything to say about this at all? No one?

S/T? Not sure what you mean. And Shining Angel is Great. It gets me Wizard, Parsec, hell, even Satellite.

Ok, let's start with what to lose:
-2 Poly
-3 Shining Angel
-2 Sattalite
-1 Parsec
-2 Crusher
-1 Knight
- 2 Photon Lead
-1 Constellar belt of something or other.
- all the non Solemn traps.

These are the stuff I suggest should be taken out. I can give reasons why for anything, except maybe the traps, but that's due to space issues.

Essentially what your build seems to be aimed at is Xyzing. That isn't how a Galaxy deck will win games, simple because the deck can't really generate plus's. Every single action will be either neutral or cost you cards. As such the deck relies on beatdown, mostly through Galaxy-Eyes. You win games by draining your opponents resources dry. Overlaying is mostly done to get Giant Killer or Sun Dragon Overlord, because they let you kill cards quickly and easily, and let your beaters do what they need to.

So, my list of fixes:
+2 Light and Darkness Dragon. (It's easy to summon, can fetch back your beaters when it dies, and most importantly, it costs your opponents cards to get rid of. That's worth so so much in the deck.)
+1 Thrasher (It's the early game beater. And can lead into good rank 4 plays like Omega and Paladus.)
+2 Mystical Space Typhoon (backrow clearance is always good)
+2 Trade in.... (Why aren't you running this with the amount of level 8's you have? o.O)
+2 Lance. (A Galaxy-Eyes protected by Lance is one of the most annoying things in the game to deal with, not to mention how versatile it is.)
+1 Galaxy Zero (A searchable reborn. What's not to love with it at 3?)
+2 Torrential (When you have a low monster count, and you can resurect your beaters, the field wipe is amazing for gaining advantage.)
+1 Compulsory Evac. (It's kinda like Lance, but a tad less flexable.)
+2 Any random level 4 LIGHT monsters, D.D. Warrior Lady or Thunder King being the go to options.

I think that's still 40 cards? If it's less, squeeze in Pot of Duality. One bad thing about Galaxy decks is an utter lack of room. If you want to make it more personalised... Well Evac and Lance are pretty much the techs of the deck, so you can work around with those.

As for the extra, the line up is probably:
2 Sun Dragon Overlord
2 Giant Killer
1 of each of the other Rank 8's, except for Fran Ken, and Number 40 (One you can't summon, and the other is never ever ever worth it).
1 Constellar Omega
1 Photo-Knight Paladus
1 Maestroke
1 Black Corn
1 Photon Papi
Anything else you think fits.

Pretty much my advice for the deck. It moves things away from being an Xyz deck to a beatdown deck, kinda like Malefics only not as anti-meta. And really, until Photon's get Photon Sublimination as a release, that's how things have to stay for the non-stun builds.

Hope this helped, and if none of it did, well that's just unfortunate.

I would use 1 Tachyon dragon. It's a bit conditional, imo. Also, if you're not using its effect, the 2 Lv 8 monsters used for it are not worth it
