Gladiator Beasts

To be honest I have not played this archetype enough, it's fun, decently strong and well balanced when the deck is good. My build though is inconsistent as heck. I can enter contact fusions easily but I struggle to keep the game going and end up losing mid to late game. I seriously need help in improving the deck. Please suggest only cards released in the OCG/TCG. All useful comments will be appreciated.

Honestly I'm not great with GBs cuz my build is a fun build that runs Infected Mail and the little reptile dude but Waboku is definitely a life saver so run it

Never has any post made me laugh and amuse me so much. I see how this could be deliciously evil and destructive. Thanks, I will test these changes out. Except, why remove two Hopplomus and Shield?

Glads that aren't Laquari and Equeste (and for some, Darius) are ones you run one of. Hoplomus' big booty is a good Turn 1 set, but is really bad outside of that. It's a Wall when it needs to, but 3 of any Glad that isn't Laquari (and 3 Laquari is still too many imo) is just bad.

 

Shield is an equip, blah blah mst blah blah Waboku and Lance does it better blah blah

So I just tested with your changes Joerachi, the deck is way too fast with a superb hand; problem with it now, runs out of steam too fast at some points. Any ideas on curbing this?

Using your suggestions made the deck faster but I have been unable to pull a final blow on my opponent, many times I have brought them down to about less than 2000 Life Points, but regrettably it's a duel where we each are pummeling each others LP but it either ends in one surrendering or me unsuccessfully reducing his/her lp to 0. What can I do better then?

UPDATE!!!

So this deck is moving a lot smoother than before and always gets to a quick fist to fist fight, life points on both sides take damage, biggest problem though is that I always bring my opponent to approximately LP< or = to 3000LP then end up losing. How can I ante up the win rate for this deck?

-2 Horn of the Phantom Beast (You're tagging out, so this shouldn't stay long. I guess it effectively is a floating Lance, but I don't like it in GBs)

-2 Proving Ground (Honestly, the only Archetype exclusive Rota that's bad. You want them in the deck. Tenki does it better since it's not useless if you already have a GB)

+1 Lance (Moar lance)

+1 Book of Moon (3 Book of Moons would be heralded as Glad Format, if you want an idea of what Book does for this deck)

+1/2 FF - Gyokkou (Searchable by Bear, Backrow hate)

+1 Test Tiger (GOTTA GO FAST)

 

I'm trying to avoid the AHL Engine since you seem to be having trouble with LP Management.

Try maining 2 maxx c's. At worst its a one for one, at best it can shut down an opponent for one turn or it lets you draw a couple of cards. Very good card this format against the top decks, namely dragons, and I heavily suggest maining it or at least testing it in the main.
