As the title says. I'm asking this as if you guys are okay with the content that's currently on DNF or what would you like to see more. This doesn't have to be Oasis only but in other areas too. No trolling, only serious posts.
During either player’s turn: You can send 1 “Subterror” monster from your Deck to the Graveyard; Tribute this card and at least 1 other monster so that the original Levels Tributed equal or exceed the Level of that “Subterror” monster in the Graveyard, and if you do, Special Summon that monster in face-up or face-down Defense Position. If a “Subterror Behemoth” monster is flipped face-up while this card is in your Graveyard, you can Special Summon this card. You can only use each effect of “Subterror Nemesis Warrior” once per turn.
SNW is a pretty good card in this deck as it's your only normal summonable monster that we have that doesn't fully require tributes or conditions. Basically at any time you can send a Subterror monster from your deck to the Graveyard as the cost then tribute this card and 1 or more monsters that equal up to the same level or more as the monster sent to the Graveyard. If you are able to do that then SS that sent monster to the field in face-up or face-down defense. Now this effect can allow you to dodge card effects that target or Mirror Force like cards. Now if you decide to keep the monster face-up you can flip them face-down with their effect which will trigger the Subterror Behemoths in your hand but I'll get to that later. If a Subterror Behemoth is flipped face-up while this card is in the Graveyard you can SS this card but just remember you can only use this effect once per turn. So not only you'll be able to get your Subterror's Flip Effect but can get a free monster as well. Do remember you can choose which effect goes first as you can make SNW's effect to SS itself as Chain Link 2 to evade Trap Holes and such. You can also search this via ROTA besides Hidden City.
Subterror Behemoth Umastryx
Flip: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish it. You can only use this effect of “Subterror Behemoth Umastryx” once per turn. When a face-up monster you control is flipped face-down, if you control no face-up monsters: You can Special Summon this card from your hand in Defense Position. Once per turn: You can change this card to face-down Defense Position.
Umastryx is pretty neat as you can banish a monster your opponent controls. It targets so you can't really get rid of some monsters but you can work on that. It's also Level 7 which means if you use SNW's effect you'll just need itself and a Level 3+ monster as Stalagmo is Level 10 which you'll need a higher level monster or multiple monsters. This will be one of your discarding SB's for now as it has low attack and not something you'd want to summon over Stalagmo which has a better effect because who doesn't like drawing cards? This has the highest defense of both current SB's and should be a blocker and sniper to take away monsters on your opponent's side of the field.
Subterror Behemoth Stalagmo
FLIP: You can discard 1 "Subterror" monster, and if you do, draw 2 cards. You can only use this effect of "Subterror Behemoth Stalagmo" once per turn.
When a face-up monster you control is flipped face-down, if you control no face-up monsters: You can Special Summon this card from your hand in Defense Position. Once per turn: You can change this card to face-down Defense Position.
Stalagmo is the better of the 2 SB's we currently have to work with as it's a Destiny Draw for the deck and has the highest attack. It's almost the highest level and can be a 1 tribute fodder if you run the Ritual version with Prediction Princesses.
Prediction Princess Engine
The Prediction Princess Engine allows you to bring out a monster that can flip your SB's up and down which is Tarotrei. Coinorma is another one but you have to set it first and bring out a set SB or Pot but you won't get their effect if it's flipped face-up that turn it was summoned. Going back to Tarotrei during each of your End Phases you can SS a Flip Effect monster from your Hand or Graveyard into face-down defense position which can make dead monsters in hand useful or build up from the Graveyard. You can also dodge effects by using her effect to flip cards face-down and even prevent XYZ/Synchro attempts by flipping your opponent's monsters face-down too.
Spirit of the Fall Wind is the ROTA of the deck as it allows you to not only search out your SB's but also any other Flip effect monsters like Pot of the Forbidden to use as fodder for Prediction Ritual or even SB Stalagmo's effect. Pot of the Forbidden is pretty good if you can get it going as it has 4 effects which are banned card effects, well 3 now that Raigeki is at 1. Basically you have Pot of Greed if you need to draw more, Giant Trunade to return all s/t's on the field [Yes, even the COTH's you have that are just sitting there face-up] in which you can End Phase do this with Tarotrei's effect to flip this set card to face-up attack position and lastly you have The Forceful Sentry which can come in handy if they draw their only 1 card/something they just searched and it's crucial or just disrupting a play they have.
Pre-Preparation of Rites is the ROTA for your Ritual Monster and Ritual Spell but after its first use you might not use more copies but maybe a 2nd because Prediction Ritual's Graveyard effect allows you to search another copy of the Ritual Monster or any other Prediction Monster. If you draw into the 3rd Tarotrei then the other 2 are dead. You run 3 regardless because you want to draw 1 in your opening hand to get the deck going asap.
You can try out the Speedroid Engine if you feel like going a bit different route as Terrortop searches out Taketomborg then you overlay to XYZ summon M-X-Saber Invoker.
Invoker will then allow you to SS SNW from the deck to the field at no cost of a normal summon then you have about 4-5 other cards to use, but remember that you can't tribute XYZ monsters with SNW because they have Ranks not levels.
If you only have Taketomborg or your Terrortop gets Veilered you can Instant Fusion for Dragoness The Wicked Knight to get that Invoker on board with either monster as they still won't cost you a normal summon.
Traptrix monsters is something I was thinking about if you decide to run more of a defense kind of deck as you'd be able to stop your opponent from making plays or rather disrupt them. You're still running COTH as you can not only use Myrmeleo as a Trap Hole searcher but also as an End Phase MST or when their Field Spell/Pendulum card in their Pendulum Zone is activated. Dionaea is the 1 card XYZ if you have another Traptrix in the Graveyard. You can also reset a Trap Hole trap from your Graveyard if she is SS'd so you have something next turn.
Rafflesia is something you'd run if you decided to run the Traptrix monsters as it sits as a walking Trap Hole card. You have about 4 considerable options to send depending on what is better for the time:
Floodgate and Bottomless Trap Hole seem to be the better options at the moment as you can get rid of threats as they are summoned because most can't dodge them. So those should be main decked atm. Nightmare seems something situational as cards that can dodge them like Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon, Spark Dragon, etc. Time-Space Trap hole is good against decks like Pendulums or decks that heavily rely on SSing from the Extra Deck/Hand.
The Hidden City
When this card is activated: You can add 1 "Subterror" monster from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn: You can change 1 face-down Defense Position "Subterror" monster you control to face-up Attack or Defense Position. Once per turn, when an opponent's monster declares an attack: You can change 1 face-down Defense Position "Subterror" monster you control to face-up Attack or Defense Position, then you can negate the attack. You can only activate 1 "The Hidden City" per turn.
This card does a few things as of course lets you add a Subterror monster from your deck to your hand once it's activated. It also can flip a face-down Subterror monster you control to face-up Attack or Defense position to trigger their effects and/or be able to use their effect to flip themselves face-down to trigger your SB's in hand and build your Subterror Army. Also it acts like a Necro Gardna by stopping an attack by just flipping a set Subterror monster to face-up Attack or Defense position. I have to say it's pretty neat so I'm wondering what more S/T we'll get that work with this card.
Cards like these will help thin your deck and set up your field. Terraforming gets your Hidden City in hand, Upstart allows you to run 39/36/35/etc card decks, ROTA searches your SNW or Goblindbergh and Foolish Burial gets your SB's in the Graveyard to make your traps live.
Instant Fusion is something to try but maybe not staple to the deck. You'd want to be able to have options or even tribute fodder for your Ritual Spell/SNW's effect or even be able to Extra Deck summon. Norden is you utility player as it acts as many things and Panzer Dragon can be desperation fodder for a tribute summon or even for your Ritual Spell. I probably don't think it's need but hey we're starting somewhere.
With sending monsters to the Graveyard and having the ability to use the effects of the SB's why not keep bringing them back? You can End Phase Call of the Haunted your monsters back and even use Tarotrei's effect to flip it face-down to then flip summon them back. Burst Reverse is something I think can be neat as it can bring back your SB's and Pot of the Forbidden.
You have your summon negators as not only you can block summons from happening but always negate effects via Strike.
As you have with Solemn Strike, Breakthrough Skill is a card you can use 2x and doesn't cost you life points to activate. It's also more versatile than Strike as you can shut off effects like Majesty/Vanity's Fiend, Monarchs, Tincan, etc. You can run Mirror Force cards in here but I like Quaking in this deck because you'd want to flip face-down their attacking monsters then attack over them as Drowning won't help you loads as you'll have a monster on the field, Storming sends cards to their hand and Regular Mirror Force can trigger Graveyard effects. Now, all these traps aren't mandatory but you will need some sort of defense in addition to your Field Spell and possibly Tarotrei.
These are your basic Rank 4 monsters as you should be able to make them easily if you run cards like Instant Fusion and Call of the Haunted. Dire gets rid of monsters and s/t traps on the field that are both set or face-up. Castel shuffles face-up cards back to the deck and Dweller can help against cards that activate in the Graveyard. N39 into S39 will allow you to power up and get over high attacking monsters.
With the rest of the Rank monsters you shouldn't use a lot but they can be useful...maybe? I mean you have Extra Deck room for some but not all. A couple of Umastryx's can turn into a Big Eye to steal monsters and you'll be able to SS Umastryx's back via COTH/Burst/Tarotrei's effect. REFMD can be something as a game burner if they're under 1000 or less LPs and lock them out like that.
You can make Rank 9's more as you'll have 4 Level 9's in the deck at least but a more realistic XYZ you might use is Fortress as it's your Evilswarm Ouroburos. Dyson Sphere is situational and could be your Nightmare Shark if conditions are exact met like facing a Blue-Eyes board or something.
Again you could make these if it persist but you shouldn't unless you have to protect yourself somehow with N81 while sitting as a Tank, literally or burning for 2k for game with Gustav Max.
With the Kaiju Engine you can run the Level 7's and 10's as you can use them as tribute for SNW's effect and Ritual Tribute. Siding this card in going 2nd you can clear the field then work on what you have. It's essentially a Dark Hole than can later search another Kaiju monster from your deck to your hand.
Maxx "C" is your key card going 2nd against a lot of the decks out there like Pendulum, Blue-Eyes, Burning Abyss, etc. Your opponent will either stop their play or take the challenge which will net you more cards in hand.
This is a neato thing to have if your opponent plays alot of spell cards like Monarchs, Blue-Eyes, etc. Having this with some defense will just power you through that game.
These are other Synchro monsters you can possibly make as they're the better ones. Trishula is something nasty but doable as you can Instant Fusion Norden then SS a Level 4 then bring out Glow-Up Bulb or vice versa. Leo can be made with Tarotrei or Pot of the Forbidden and Star Eater with Stalagmo.
It's for Pendulum decks to knock off their Scales and decks that set a lot of backrow.
For the Kozmo match up to make their COTH/Oasis/Kozmojo dead and remove their threats mostly.
Good against Monarchs to shut off their power spells.
Chaos Trap Hole
Would be a good cards against Monarchs and Blue-Eyes, along with Kozmo to stop summons of their monsters then banish them.
If you're not running the Kaiju Engine then you would run this card and possibly Dark Hole to help clear the field of an opponent set up.
Imperial Iron Wall
A good card to side in against Kozmo and any other deck that likes to banish cards.
These might not be the exact best builds but the deck will mold itself over the next 2-3 weeks especially after we get a Ban List.
