Help Topic: How to Use Unusable Cards on Dueling Network

Convulsion of Nature
Problem:
Cannot turn the Deck upside down.

Work-Around:
1. If there are cards that are determined to be at the bottom/top of the deck, (ex. due to the effect of Destiny Hero Diamond Dude/Phoenix Wing Wind Blast) players need to search their Deck and banish these cards.
2. Both players shuffle their Decks and uncheck the autodraw function. If any cards were banished in step 1, of these cards, any that were determined to be on "top of the Deck" are placed on the bottom of the current Deck and cards that were determined to be on "the bottom of the Deck" are placed on top of the current Deck.
3. Both players banish the top card of their Deck face-up.
4. When you enter your Draw Phase or are required to Draw a card from your Deck, add the banished card to your hand and then banish the top card of your Deck face-up. Repeat this as long as Convulsion of Nature is active.
5. If you are required to search your Deck for a card, you will need to return the banished card currently marked as your next card. After the Deck has been shuffled, banish the next top card.

Exchange

There is no work-around. This card is unusable and not recommended for play.

Magical Hats
Problem:
Cannot place Spells/Trap Cards in a Monster Zone without compromising their identity;
Cannot place Field Spell Cards in other zones.

Work-Around:
1. Add the two chosen cards from your Deck to your hand. Leave the card selected from the field in its current position.
2. Assign each card to a die value in the following manner:
  • Card 1: 1 - 2
  • Card 2: 3 - 4
  • Card 3: 5 - 6
3. If the selected monster was a card in the Monster Zone, Special Summon 2 Token Monsters to your side of the field, otherwise, Special Summon 3. When your opponent targets a Token Monster or the selected monster card for an attack target or a card effect, roll a die to determine which of the three cards is being selected.

Parasite Paracide

Power Tool Dragon
Problem:
There is no space to put face-down cards temporarily.

Work-Around:
1. Upon activation, banish all three card choices face-up from the Deck.
2. Place all cards in your hand on top of your Deck.
3. Add the three banished cards to your hand.
4. Your opponent selects one random card. Place the other two cards on the bottom of your Deck.
5. Redraw all cards from the top of your Deck that were in your hand.
6. Shuffle the Deck.

Shifting Shadows
Problem:
There is no space to put face-down cards temporarily.

Work-Around:
1. Return your hand to the top of your Deck.
2. Return all your face down monsters you control to your hand, and Set them on the field again in different places. If you wish to place them in different monster card zones entirely you can use token monsters and the Spell/Trap Zones to manipulate this.
3. Draw the cards you returned to top of the Deck.
